About the Role

Conova (PTY) LTD is seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to join our team in Limpopo. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial reporting, as well as providing strategic support to executive management in driving the hotel’s profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain accounting records in line with applicable reporting standards and Group Finance SOP (Standard Operating Procedures)
Process day-to-day financial data (invoices, journals) and reconcile cashbooks/bank accounts
Prepare monthly management accounts and executive summary detailing variances against prior year, budget, and forecast
Submit monthly management packs to Head Office and process relevant monthly journals
Reconcile and process payroll, including medical aid and pension funds
Maintain debtors and suppliers age with the Group Debtors Manager

Requirements

Proficient on SAGE Evolution & SAGE Intacct and advanced Excel
Excellent understanding of financial reporting standards (IAS, IFRS)
Must be able to collaborate with the team and work independently and manage time appropriately
Strong knowledge of South African Tax/VAT laws and hospitality industry regulations

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Completed SAICA/SAIPA/CIMA articles or equivalent (Preferred)
