About the Role

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Africa Travel Specialist to join a Luxury Property Group in Johannesburg, where you will curate bespoke guest experiences across Southern and East Africa, combining expert itinerary planning with proactive sales engagement to drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and sell tailor-made itineraries for guests, including flights, transfers, and accommodation with partner lodges/hotels
  • Engage proactively with prospective guests to convert enquiries into confirmed bookings
  • Promote upselling and cross-selling opportunities across properties and experiences
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of properties, rooms, services, and locations
  • Stay informed on third-party preferred partners and specialised knowledge of Southern and East Africa
  • Achieve or exceed monthly and annual sales targets through direct bookings
  • Track and report on sales performance, conversion rates, and revenue metrics
  • Identify new business opportunities and contribute to sales strategies and campaigns
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with high-value clients
  • Manage reservation files from inception through guest departure
  • Ensure accurate reservation details in booking and CRM systems
  • Confirm bookings via email in a timely manner
  • Submit monthly reconciliations and financial breakdowns
  • Resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally

Requirements
