About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Manager to join our upmarket Lodge in Bela Bela Region. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing a fully operational F&B department in a 4 or 5 star Hotel/Lodge environment, with a staff complement of at least 40.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the overall performance and profitability of the Food and Beverage Department
- Organize and run promotions and events to drive sales and revenue growth
- Ensure excellent customer service and maintain high standards of quality and presentation
- Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and customer loyalty
- Supervise and train staff to achieve optimal performance and customer satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including weekly and monthly financial statements
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Managing a fully operational F&B department in a 4 or 5 star Hotel/Lodge environment
- Hospitality Management Diploma
- Grade 12 Matric
- Good command of the English language
- Advanced understanding of cost of sales & profit margins
- Working knowledge of stock controls
