About the Role
Edgexec (Pty) Ltd is seeking a skilled BBBEE Consultant to join their team in Johannesburg, Gauteng. As a specialist transformation advisory business, we support organisations in achieving sustainable BBBEE outcomes. This role offers a fast-paced and professional environment with meaningful client-facing work.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret BBBEE legislation and advise clients on compliance implications and opportunities.
- Design and deliver client-specific BBBEE strategies aligned to sector codes and business goals.
- Complete, track, and analyse scorecards for all applicable codes using the Mantis Tool; provide regular progress updates.
- Plan and run workshops and 1:1 training to build internal capability on BBBEE principles.
- Facilitate verification readiness: gather evidence, compile files, and coordinate with agencies.
- Engage third-party providers; set referral agreements and monitor performance.
- Drive supplier, skills development, and socioeconomic initiatives with relevant partners.
- Contribute articles and media commentary on BBBEE legislation and sector codes.
- Support business development and new client acquisition.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience with deep knowledge of BBBEE legislation and scorecards.
- Strong project leadership, stakeholder engagement, and time management.
- Exceptional administration, documentation accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Confident communicator with excellent writing and presenting skills; comfortable in media forums.
- Commercial mindset with proven ability to upsell, cross-sell, and meet KPIs.
- Willingness to travel for client engagements.
