About the Role

The Chief Information and Communication Technology Officer will be responsible for leading the organization’s ICT strategy and direction, driving digital transformation, and ensuring the effective utilization of technology to achieve business objectives. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of experience in IT/ICT management and leadership, with a proven ability to drive strategic transformation and visionary leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Directly oversee the IT Infrastructure roles and responsibilities for all Group entities, ensuring stable and secure connectivity across all regions.
  • Manage Group-wide hardware standards and technical support through Hardware Engineers in all operational territories.
  • Guarantee business continuity by overseeing the Backup and Disaster Recovery in all operational territories.
  • Lead the Applications & Systems Development team to modernize the Group’s software ecosystem, effective implementation of the selected ERP across the Group entities.
  • Direct Software Developers to create and maintain custom applications that meet the unique needs of the Group’s diverse business portfolios.
  • Develop and implement an AI strategy for the organization, ensuring effective utilization of AI for growth and strategic position.
  • Ensure AI functionalities are effectively utilized in the ERP system.
  • Develop and implement Governance, Policy and Procedures, and Authority Matrix for all ICT functionalities.
  • Implement and manage the ICT cost-sharing model across the Group.
  • Coordinate with HR to fill positions and complete the proposed structure.

Requirements

  • Experience: 15 – 20 Years in Information Technology / ICT Domain
  • Language: English (Mandatory)
  • Management style: Strategic transformation and visionary leadership; strong stakeholder management and financial acumen
  • Mandatory: Bachelors Degree in one or more of these options:

Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Electronics & Communications Engineering, Telecommunications or related ICT Discipline

Qualifications

  • Preferred: Masters Degree in one or more of these options:

(Highly Preferred) MBA, Masters in Information Systems, Masters in Technology Management, Masters in Cybersecurity, Executive Leadership Programs

  • Preferred: Professional Certifications Enterprise & Governance: TOGAF, ITIL, COBIT, PMP / PRINCE
  • Preferred: Cybersecurity: CISSP, CISM, CEH, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer / Auditor
  • Preferred: Cloud & Infrastructure: Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Architect
  • Preferred: ERP & Digital Transformation: Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Business Central certifications, SAP / Oracle ERP exposure, Digital Transformation certifications
