Job Description

Key Responsibilities Lead and support engineering technicians, ensuring effective problem-solving and root cause analysis. Identify operational and technical issues and implement process improvements. Develop and implement engineering schedules and maintenance practices. Drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes and equipment reliability. Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and company policies. Generate reports and schedules using relevant software systems. Collaborate with production and cross-functional teams to achieve operational targets. Minimum Requirements NQF Level 7 qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Minimum 2 years engineering experience within a manufacturing environment. Leadership experience advantageous; strong leadership potential essential. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills. Government Certificate of Competency (advantageous; opportunity to obtain through the company). Willingness to undergo medical assessments.
