About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our vehicle dealership in Rustenburg, where you will be responsible for managing and maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, and assisting with budgeting and cash flow management.
Key Responsibilities
- Interprets, compiles, and maintains automotive accounting information for the dealership.
- Maintain monthly vehicle inventory and flooring records and reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly financial statements for submission to manufacturer.
- Prepare monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist with financial activities such as preparation of yearly budgets, cash flow, purchases.
Requirements
Basic understanding of all corporate taxes. Sound knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles. Minimum of 4 years’ experience as Accountant. Numeracy accuracy and diligence and good computer skills. Supervision experience. Clear criminal record. Valid SA Driver’s license. Grade 12 or equivalent.
