About the Role

The Factory Administrator role is a critical support function to operational leadership, focusing on streamlining data management and administrative workflows to enhance factory floor efficiency. This position exists to minimize desk-bound duties for the management team, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collate and analyse raw data using Marel WMS and MS Excel to maintain dashboards and reports.
  • Track daily output, defect rates, and recovery yields from raw fish to finished product.
  • Formulate official documentation and manage the end-to-end process for signatures and executive approvals.
  • Oversee clerical functions including email correspondence, systematic filing, and management of office supplies.
  • Assist with daily operational tasks to enable high-level oversight by the management team.
  • Investigate factory process queries timeously to solve problems.

Requirements

  • At least 3-5 years of work experience within an FMCG or manufacturing admin environment.
  • Matric certificate.
  • Proficiency in MS Office 365, specifically Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive.
  • Own reliable transport.
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and technical aptitude.

Qualifications

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in business administration, supply chain, or production management (advantageous).
  • Previous experience working with Marel WMS (advantageous).

Salary & Benefits

R15 000 – R20 000 CTC. Mondays Fridays: 08h00 17h30 plus weekends/public holidays.
