About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Process Engineer (AI & Automation) to design and deliver AI-powered and automated solutions that transform client journeys and operational workflows. This role blends process engineering, customer experience, and applied AI, ensuring solutions are scalable, compliant, and impactful.
Key Responsibilities
- Map and redesign client journeys across conversational banking, contact centres, and self-service channels.
- Act as design authority for AI and automation initiatives.
- Define AI architectures, automation workflows, and performance frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with FSCA, POPIA, and TCF principles.
- Drive continuous improvement through measurement, testing, and iteration.
Requirements
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Commerce, or related field (MBA advantageous).
- 58 years of experience in process engineering, customer experience, and digital transformation.
- 23 years hands-on with AI solutions and automation/RPA.
- Experience in banking, fintech, retail, or regulated environments.
- Strong documentation and specification writing skills.
- Proficiency in languages: English and Afrikaans.
