About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to join our team in Port Elizabeth, responsible for driving business growth through strategic analysis and process improvement. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements, as well as strong technical skills in tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Visio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements
  • Work closely with stakeholders, developers, and project teams to identify business needs and process improvements
  • Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications and user stories
  • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and requirement gathering sessions
  • Assist with process mapping, gap analysis, and solution design
  • Support testing, implementation, and change management activities
  • Ensure solutions align with business objectives and operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support successful project delivery
  • Identify opportunities for process optimisation and continuous improvement
  • Maintain clear and accurate project and business documentation

Requirements

  • 35 years of experience as a Business Analyst
  • Relevant qualification in Business Analysis, Information Systems, IT, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of business processes and systems analysis
  • Experience with requirement gathering methodologies and documentation
  • Exposure to Agile and/or Scrum environments (advantageous)
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
