About the Role

The Sales Manager (Retail) role is a critical position within our organisation, responsible for driving regional sales growth and leading a high-performing team of Sales Representatives and Merchandisers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a regional sales and growth strategy aligned to company objectives
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within retail groups, independents, and wholesale channels
  • Lead, coach, and performance-manage a team of Sales Representatives and Merchandisers
  • Drive in-store excellence, including merchandising standards, planogram compliance, and stock availability
  • Consistently exceed sales targets through effective new business development and negotiation skills

Requirements

  • Minimum Relevant tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management (advantageous)
  • 57 years experience in FMCG & Retail Sector
  • Willingness to travel extensively with a valid drivers license and reliable vehicle
  • Proven success in managing a sales team
  • Experience leading field sales and merchandising teams
