About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Financial Systems Engineer to join our team in Johannesburg. As a key member of our support team, you will provide expert-level support for Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) financial modules and collaborate with internal teams and Oracle Support to drive resolutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 3 support for Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) financial modules
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve system issues efficiently
- Collaborate with internal teams and Oracle Support to drive resolutions
- Support month-end financial close processes, ensuring deadlines are met
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot failures, and improve system stability
- Act as a subject matter expert for financial ERP systems
- Analyse Oracle patches, coordinate testing, and support deployments
- Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and end users
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 3 years Oracle EBS support experience (or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Financial modules
- Solid experience with SQL / TOAD and relational databases
- Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
- Experience in a finance/accounting environment is highly advantageous
