About the Role
Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled and passionate Senior Chef de Partie for a luxury lodge based in Timbavati. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated culinary professional with a strong background in fine dining and luxury hospitality to join a high-performing kitchen team in a breathtaking bush setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes
- Maintain exceptional food standards and presentation at all times
- Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef with daily kitchen operations
- Ensure hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards are consistently upheld
- Assist with stock control, ordering, and minimising wastage
- Train and support junior kitchen staff where required
- Contribute creative ideas towards menus and guest dining experiences
Requirements
Previous experience as a Senior CDP or similar role within a luxury lodge, hotel, or fine dining environment. Strong culinary skills with attention to detail. Ability to work efficiently under pressure. Excellent organisational and teamwork skills. Passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
Relevant culinary qualification advantageous.
Salary & Benefits
Negotiable salary depending on experience. Live-in position.
