About the Role
We are seeking a reliable Workshop Assistant to join our team in Benoni, Gauteng. As a key member of our workshop team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our technicians with servicing, repairs, and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist technicians with servicing, repairs, and maintenance of machinery and equipment
- Prepare tools, materials, and work areas for daily maintenance activities
- Maintain workshop cleanliness, organization, and safety standards
- Support basic diagnostics and fault-finding processes
- Travel to operational sites to assist with breakdowns and repairs
- Use modern diagnostic equipment and AI-supported systems
- Assist with general workshop duties and operational support when required
Requirements
- Basic mechanical knowledge, preferably relating to diesel machinery, heavy equipment, or industrial machinery
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel between sites
