About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Controller to join our team in Benoni, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse and ensuring the efficient management of stock levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and control warehouse inventory, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods
- Implement and maintain accurate stock records using Palladium inventory system (advantageous experience)
- Enforce FIFO and food safety regulations to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff to achieve operational targets
- Develop and implement organizational systems to improve efficiency and productivity
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and internal teams
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years warehouse/logistics experience within the food industry
- Strong knowledge of stock control, FIFO, and food safety regulations
- Experience with inventory systems (Palladium advantageous)
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- Valid drivers license
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
