About the Role
The Armed / Tactical Response Officer is a critical position within our high-security environment, requiring individuals with exceptional security skills and physical fitness to provide professional security services and respond to incidents promptly.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide armed and/or tactical security response services
- Respond to incidents and emergencies promptly and effectively
- Ensure protection of site personnel, property, and assets
- Conduct routine patrols and enforce site security procedures
- Maintain high levels of professionalism and discipline at all times
- Complete accurate incident reports and security documentation
- Comply with firearm competency and legal security requirements
- Follow all operational site instructions and security protocols
- Maintain communication with control room and supervisors as required
Requirements
- PSiRA Grade C Certificate
- SAPS Competency Certificate
- PTFC Statement of Results
- Valid Drivers Licence
- Valid South African ID
- Own reliable transport (required)
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Matric preferred (not essential)
