About the Role

We are seeking a warm, professional, and guest-focused Front of House team member to join our luxury safari tented camp. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hospitality environment, enjoys creating memorable guest experiences, and can confidently manage daily lodge operations with care and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and host guests in a warm, professional, and engaging manner
  • Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently
  • Handle reservations, guest enquiries, and daily lodge administration
  • Coordinate guest activities, transfers, and special requests
  • Maintain excellent communication between departments to ensure seamless operations
  • Assist with hosting meals, guest briefings, and general guest interaction throughout the stay
  • Ensure guest areas are always clean, organised, and presentation-ready
  • Handle guest feedback and resolve issues professionally and calmly
  • Assist with stock control, ordering, and basic reporting where required
  • Support lodge management with daily operational duties

Requirements

  • Previous experience in hospitality or luxury lodge environments
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for guest service and creating exceptional experiences
  • Professional appearance and friendly personality
  • Strong organisational and administrative abilities
  • Ability to work well under pressure and within a team
  • Computer literacy and confidence using reservation systems and Microsoft Office

Qualifications

  • Valid drivers licence
  • Ability to live and work in a remote bush environment
