About the Role

Sweetsand is seeking a final year Pastry Chef student to join our new restaurant in Durban. We are looking for an individual with extensive knowledge of baking and pastry techniques who can lead our team and create visually appealing pastries and desserts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and preparing menus
  • Lead a team of junior staff members
  • Create visually appealing and flavorful pastries and desserts
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation practices

Requirements

  • Grade 12
  • Formal qualification in Patisserie
