About the Role

Hire Resolve is seeking a skilled Civil Engineering Technologist to join our client’s dynamic team in Durbanville, South Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing municipal services, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Design municipal services from conception through to construction.
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to inform design processes.
Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
Develop and review design documentation, project specifications, and reports.
Oversee construction phases, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Utilize software tools for drafting and modeling, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Mentor junior engineering staff and share best practices within the team.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Must be registered as a Professional Engineering Technologist (Pr Tech) or eligible to register within the next 12 months.
Minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
Experience in both greenfield and brownfield projects.
Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Knowledge of local regulations and industry standards.
Project Management experience is an advantage.
