Job Description

Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Technology, or a related scientific field.
Relevant laboratory training within a manufacturing or FMCG environment (soap, detergent, or cosmetics preferred).
Working knowledge of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and basic quality systems.

Skills & Experience:

35 years experience in a production or quality control laboratory within a chemical or manufacturing environment.
Practical experience with routine chemical analysis, raw material testing, in-process checks, and finished product evaluation.
Ability to accurately prepare formulations, samples, and standard solutions.
Competence in operating basic laboratory equipment and instruments.
Strong attention to detail with accurate record-keeping and report writing.
Understanding of safety, hygiene, and environmental requirements in a factory setting.
Ability to work independently while supporting production and quality teams.
Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work under production pressure.
