Job Description

About the Role

Tsebo Catering Solutions is seeking an experienced and skilled Catering Manager to join our team, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational management of a Key Account. The successful candidate will be instrumental in maintaining high-quality standards of deliverables, managing client relations, and ensuring site visits are conducted effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Take full responsibility and management of the unit
Work in a demanding environment
Set and manage service delivery standards
Lead, motivate, train, and develop a team of staff
Implement and maintain operational controls within budgetary requirements
Ensure quality of food preparation, presentation, and service is up to Fedics standards
Comply with Fedics policies and procedures
Handle daily HR and IR issues (including training, development, & performance management)
Analyse and pre-empt client needs and possible complaints
Manage all administration, finances, debtors, budgets, etc.
Process Fedics paperwork and compile/understand weekly & monthly P&L
Build relationships with the client and customers on a daily basis (essential)
Work long hours and over weekends as needed
Stay abreast of latest food trends and best practices

Qualifications

Matric and Culinary Tertiary qualifications. Minimum of 5 yrs exp in a similar role/Management exp Familiar accounting systems. Previous experience in the Healthcare Space would be highly advantageous.
