About the Role
Tsebo Catering Solutions is seeking an experienced and skilled Catering Manager to join our team, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational management of a Key Account. The successful candidate will be instrumental in maintaining high-quality standards of deliverables, managing client relations, and ensuring site visits are conducted effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full responsibility and management of the unit
- Work in a demanding environment
- Set and manage service delivery standards
- Lead, motivate, train, and develop a team of staff
- Implement and maintain operational controls within budgetary requirements
- Ensure quality of food preparation, presentation, and service is up to Fedics standards
- Comply with Fedics policies and procedures
- Handle daily HR and IR issues (including training, development, & performance management)
- Analyse and pre-empt client needs and possible complaints
- Manage all administration, finances, debtors, budgets, etc.
- Process Fedics paperwork and compile/understand weekly & monthly P&L
- Build relationships with the client and customers on a daily basis (essential)
- Work long hours and over weekends as needed
- Stay abreast of latest food trends and best practices

Qualifications
Matric and Culinary Tertiary qualifications. Minimum of 5 yrs exp in a similar role/Management exp Familiar accounting systems. Previous experience in the Healthcare Space would be highly advantageous.
