About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Instructor to join our team at Career Pathfinders’ Guide Training institute in Mpumalanga. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the general management and running of our camps, ensuring a safe and immersive learning experience for all course participants.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage maintenance on infrastructure, vehicles, and equipment
- Supervise and maintain firearms and ammunition, ensuring they are safe, well-maintained, and in good working order
- Liaise with Reserve Management on concession matters
- Manage the daily activities of camp staff, including cooks, cleaners, and Camp Coordinators
- Mentor students on work experience placement or volunteer basis, ensuring their development programmes are followed
- Facilitate lectures, tests, assessments, and administration processes to meet academic requirements
- Provide inspirational and immersive learning experiences for all course participants
Requirements
- Minimum NQF 4. VPDA qualification
- FGASA Level Professional level (3)
- Advanced Trails Guide certification
- Current Advanced Rifle Handling certification
- 5 years of related industry experience
- Current NDT Registration
- Current PDP
- Current FGASA Membership
