About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor to lead daily housekeeping operations at our luxury safari lodge in Pongola, KwaZulu-Natal. As a live-in role, this position is ideal for an experienced hospitality professional who thrives in remote environments and prioritises detail, consistency, and guest comfort.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily housekeeping operations across guest and staff areas
- Maintain luxury cleanliness and presentation standards at all times
- Manage housekeeping schedules, task allocation, and staff supervision
- Conduct regular inspections and implement quality control measures
- Oversee linen, cleaning stock, and inventory control
- Train; mentor, and motivate housekeeping team members
Requirements
- Previous housekeeping supervisory experience within a lodge or hotel
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work in a remote, live-in safari lodge environment
- Good communication and leadership abilities
- Physically fit and hands-on approach to daily duties
