About the Role
Our client, a dynamic water management company, is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused professional to join their team in a dual role combining bookkeeping and customer service oversight. As a Bookkeeper & Customer Services Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the company’s financial records while also overseeing customer service operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are properly recorded
- Process accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
- Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with budgeting processes
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Manage invoicing, collections, and payment tracking
- Utilize QuickBooks for all accounting functions
- Oversee daily customer service operations and ensure timely response to client queries
- Maintain and improve customer service standards and processes
- Handle escalated customer issues professionally and efficiently
- Coordinate with operations teams to ensure service delivery meets client expectations
- Maintain customer records and communication logs
- Assist in developing customer retention strategies
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar financial role
- Mandatory experience using QuickBooks
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Experience in customer service or customer relations management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
