About the Role

Our client, a dynamic water management company, is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused professional to join their team in a dual role combining bookkeeping and customer service oversight. As a Bookkeeper & Customer Services Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the company’s financial records while also overseeing customer service operations.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are properly recorded
Process accounts payable and receivable
Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with budgeting processes
Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
Manage invoicing, collections, and payment tracking
Utilize QuickBooks for all accounting functions
Oversee daily customer service operations and ensure timely response to client queries
Maintain and improve customer service standards and processes
Handle escalated customer issues professionally and efficiently
Coordinate with operations teams to ensure service delivery meets client expectations
Maintain customer records and communication logs
Assist in developing customer retention strategies

Requirements

Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar financial role
Mandatory experience using QuickBooks
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
Experience in customer service or customer relations management
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
