Job Description
Our client, a market leader and operating out of Humansdorp, is currently seeking to employ an experienced Process Maintenance Technician to join their team based in Humansdorp.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring plant and equipment reliability, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and maintaining high safety standards within the production environment.
Requirements:

Qualified Electrician or Millwright.

Minimum 3 years experience in a similar manufacturing or production environment.

Experience servicing Tetra Pak and Alfa Laval equipment.

Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding abilities.
-
Ability to work systematically and communicate effectively.

Ability to contribute to continuous improvement and innovation initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Maintenance Operations
-
Complete and capture job cards accurately in the maintenance system.
-
Plan and execute maintenance tasks, including breakdown repairs, scheduled servicing, and project-related maintenance.

Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical faults efficiently.
-
Ensure correct tools and spare parts are used and maintained in safe working condition.
Equipment and Process Support
-
Commission equipment after maintenance and hand over to operations.

Implement improvement projects to optimise plant and process equipment performance.

Maintain equipment manuals, technical drawings, and specialised tools in proper order.
Health, Safety and Compliance

Adhere to health, safety, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company procedures
