About the Role

We are seeking a confident and hands-on Camp Manager or Front of House Manager to oversee daily camp operations at our luxury safari lodge in the Okavango Delta, Botswana. As a live-in role, this position is ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives in a remote safari environment and values community integration and regional understanding.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct full guest orientations and manage guest well-being throughout their stay
  • Maintain and communicate daily information via the central whiteboard (transfers, dietary needs, activities)
  • Coordinate guest diaries and daily schedules with kitchen and guiding departments
  • Plan guest activities and manage logistics for road and air transfers
  • Conduct weekly stock takes and coordinate supplier orders and collections
  • Manage staff duty rosters, leave cycles, and incident tracking
  • Monitor contractual compliance (all disciplinary and labour matters handled off-site)

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Camp Manager or Front of House Manager within a safari lodge environment
  • Strong guest-facing ability with continuous on-site guest interaction
  • Confident, assertive personality with strong leadership presence
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Experience coordinating activities such as game drives, walking safaris, mokoro excursions, and horse riding
  • Strong administrative and stock-control capability
