Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our team at Burgersfort, with a strong background in the mining environment. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of our equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs on mining equipment
- Conduct routine inspections and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure efficient operation of facilities
- Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues as needed
Requirements
- Completed Apprenticeship in Fitting
- Recognized Trade Test Certificate (Section 13 and/or 26)
- At least 2 years of experience in the mining environment
- Valid First Aid Certificate
- Valid Code 8 driver’s license
Qualifications
- Formal education or equivalent qualifications in Fitting or a related field
