Job Description

Our client has an opportunity available for a Senior Manager in Procurement based in Constantia Kloof.

Requirements:

Willing to work overtime when required.
Valid drivers license.
Willing to travel nationally and internationally and stay overnight.
Degree in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing or a related field.
5+ years experience in Procurement of which 3+ years should be at Management or Senior Management level.
Prior experience using SAP as an ERP system.
3 to 5+ years Strategic Sourcing, Contract and Tender Management and Supplier relations experience.

KPAs:

Communicate Procurement strategies to stakeholders and formulate plans to facilitate the implementation of the strategy.
Review and develop high-level procurement strategies.
Review and implement high-level procurement related policies and procedures.
Ensure that all governance structures are operational.
Review and implement documentation management and control processes for Purchasing documents.
Ensure that procurement activities adhere to quality, safety and compliance standards.
Conduct ongoing performance management on all direct reports.
