About the Role
Join a world-renowned leader in nature training and wilderness education as a Camp Coordinator, where you’ll live and breathe the African wilderness while shaping the future of the safari industry. This dynamic role combines hospitality expertise with coordination and mentorship skills, offering a unique opportunity to master the art of wilderness hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with concession and reserve rules and regulations
- Oversee camp infrastructure, vehicles, equipment, and general maintenance requirements
- Implement and maintain high-end hospitality and housekeeping standards in line with company expectations
- Manage guest arrivals, departures, and overall camp experience
- Collect and manage guest and student feedback to support continuous improvement
Requirements
- National Senior certificate (Grade 12)
- Valid drivers licence
- Recognised qualification (certificate, diploma, or degree) from an accredited hospitality institution
- Formal high-end housekeeping or lodge operations training, preferably from a 5* lodge background
- Approx. 3 – 5 years experience in a remote type environment e.g: safari lodge, hospitality, conservation or tour operating
