Job Description

Job Responsibilities: 

Production Operations:

  • Lead and coordinate daily production activities to meet output, quality, and delivery targets.
  • Ensure production schedules are followed and downtime is minimized.
  • Monitor KPIs (OEE, scrap rate, cycle time, productivity).
  • Allocate manpower effectively across workstations.

Team Leadership & Supervision:

  • Supervise, coach, and motivate production operators.
  • Conduct daily shift meetings and performance briefings.
  • Manage attendance, timekeeping, and shift rotations.
  • Identify training needs and support employee development.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives (5S, Kaizen, SMED, TPM).
  • Lead problem-solving activities using tools such as 8D, Fishbone, and 5 Whys.
  • Identify process improvements to reduce waste and increase efficiency.

Reporting & Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate production records and reports.
  • Track downtime, scrap, rework, and productivity metrics.
  • Report daily performance to management.

Job Requirements: 

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in automotive manufacturing, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive production processes
