About the Role
A Haematology practice is urgently seeking a Medical Officer to join their team in a tertiary level clinical environment. As a full-time role, this position requires a highly skilled and experienced medical professional to provide high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Be responsible for in-patient and outpatient general management of patients
- Diagnose and manage medical emergencies
- Experienced with routine diagnostic procedures
- Interact with medical aids for the successful approval of prescribed treatments
- Assisting in the billing of all procedures and professional work on patients attending the practice
Requirements
- Registration with the Health Professional Council of South Africa as an independent medical practitioner
- Current ATLS, APLS or PALS certificate
- Minimum of 2 years appropriate experience as Medical Officer
