About the Role
Ad Talent Africa is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Digital Marketing and Social Media Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of our digital presence, marketing content, and visual assets. You will oversee the creation, scheduling, posting, and sharing of all social media content across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube, including promotional content for properties going on auction, public holiday campaigns, PR content, and sold property announcements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage paid advertising on Meta platforms by creating Facebook lead forms, boosting campaigns, monitoring performance, adjusting budgets, and collecting and distributing leads to brokers and administrators.
- Create and schedule social media content across multiple platforms, including promotional content for properties going on auction, public holiday campaigns, PR content, and sold property announcements.
- Monitor and adjust social media advertising campaigns to optimize performance and achieve desired results.
- Manage social media community messages and assist brokers with their individual social media accounts.
- Research and liaise with third-party advertising platforms to ensure seamless integration of marketing efforts.
- Generate QR codes for marketing materials and compile performance statistics across social media, email marketing, Property24, and the website.
- Manage back-end digital operations related to auctions, including reordering the website after mailers, updating final lot orders, managing the website and YouTube channel on auction day, updating monthly auction headers across platforms, and maintaining accurate online property statuses.
Requirements
- 35 years of experience in a Digital Marketing, Social Media, or Content-focused role.
- Relevant qualification in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Design, or Multimedia (or equivalent practical experience).
- Proven experience managing social media platforms and paid advertising, particularly Meta (Facebook and Instagram).
- Strong content creation skills, including copywriting, basic design, photography, and video editing.
