About the Role
The Luxury Hotel in Sandton is seeking an experienced Banqueting Co-Ordinator to join our team on an ASAP basis. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering exceptional banqueting experiences for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of banqueting events, including catering, décor, and logistics
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their needs and preferences
- Ensure seamless execution of events, meeting deadlines and exceeding client expectations
- Manage event budgets and negotiate with suppliers as necessary
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth event delivery
Requirements
- Extensive experience in banqueting coordination (minimum 3 years)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers
