About the Role
An exciting opportunity has opened for a skilled PHP Developer to join a dynamic team in Johannesburg. This is a permanent position offering a hybrid work model, providing the flexibility to work both remotely and from the office.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize web applications using PHP and related technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable solutions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications for improved performance and security.
- Integrate third-party services, APIs, and databases as needed.
- Ensure best coding practices, security standards, and documentation are followed.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in PHP and experience with frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, MySQL/MariaDB, and version control systems like Git.
- Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and deployment strategies is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Salary & Benefits
The cost-to-company salary for this position is negotiable between R900k to 1.1mil per annum, based on experience and ability.
