About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced AQUACULTURE FARM OPERATIONS MANAGER – JUNIOR to join our team at Farm Manager SA. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing various projects on the farm, enforcing discipline across teams, and driving improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Manage range of projects on the farm. E.g., reorganizing the warehouse, establishing better entrance controls, scaling up the maintenance team (60%)
- Enforce discipline across teams. E.g., Check follow through on commitments, spot check attendance and adherence to schedules, establish stronger accountability mechanisms and provide training on them (40%)
Requirements
• Relevant Agricultural degree / diploma
• Experience and affinity with agriculture / aquaculture / industrial environments.
• Computer literate
• Ability to motivate and work with staff
• Able to command a room and team, while being respectful and mindful of cultural differences.
• Strong communication skills
• Maintenance orientated
• Valid passport
