About the Role
Hire Resolve’s client is seeking an experienced Accountant to join their team in Pinetown, Durban. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented finance professional with experience in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and update the asset register in Sage X3 V12.
- Analyze CapEx requests, conduct financial calculations, recommend prioritization, and monitor projects.
- Assist with financial reporting and budgeting, preparing analyses, and transitioning into a Management Accountant role.
- Assess business processes, identify cost-saving opportunities, and participate in financial projects.
- Identify and implement efficiency improvements.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Work closely with teams to gather and analyze financial data.
Requirements
- Matric
- Accounting Degree
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting skills
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel (Advanced Level)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Preferably in a chemical or manufacturing environment
