About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Code 14 driver to join our team in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transporting hazardous goods and excellent road safety knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with route planning for deliveries
  • Handle pick-up and deliveries
  • Provide loading assistance
  • Ensure delivery note compliance
  • Report any violations or incidents
  • Maintain daily truck maintenance records
  • Record keeping and comply with driving regulations
  • Assist with warehouse and stock management, including:
  • Stock counts
  • Rotating stock
  • Making stock adjustments
  • Ensure safety compliance in the workplace
  • Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required
  • Report any equipment issues or maintenance needs
  • Maintain a positive company image by installing equipment at client sites

Requirements

  • Valid Code 14 (EC) drivers licence with PDP & Dangerous Goods Certification (Hazchem)
  • Essential: Forklift license
  • Grade 12 ideal
  • Minimum 35 years experience as a Code 14 driver
  • Proven experience transporting hazardous or dangerous goods
  • Road safety knowledge
