About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Head Chef to join our team at a clubhouse restaurant and function venue located in Centurion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing kitchen operations, developing recipes, and leading a kitchen brigade.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of the kitchen operation
- Prepare food with attention to detail and presentation
- Develop and implement new recipes
- Manage kitchen control systems and stock levels
- Lead and train a kitchen brigade
- Maintain high standards of food quality and safety
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of experience as a sous / head chef in an a la carte restaurant and banqueting environment
- Strong knowledge of food preparation and presentation
- Excellent leadership and training skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong kitchen administration skills
