About the Role
A reputable luxury resort located in Pretoria, Gauteng, is seeking a dynamic and experienced couple to fill a live-in Housekeeping HOD & Stock Controller position. This opportunity is ideal for a hospitality-focused couple who work well as a team and bring strong organisational, leadership, and operational skills to a resort environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner 1 – Housekeeping HOD:
- Schedule staff shifts and allocate daily duties
- Conduct room inspections to ensure cleanliness standards
- Train, supervise, and motivate housekeeping staff
- Manage laundry operations and linen control
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, health, and safety standards
- Report maintenance issues and liaise with management
- Partner 2 – Stock Controller:
- Manage stock, supplies, and equipment
- Conduct regular stock takes and maintain inventory records
- Place orders and control departmental budgets
- Monitor losses, damages, and consumption levels
- Support daily housekeeping operations when required
- Maintain storerooms and supply areas in an orderly manner
- Assist with administrative and reporting duties
Requirements
- Previous hospitality or resort experience
- Strong organisational and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
- Hands-on approach and willingness to take initiative
