About the Role
Our well-known automotive dealer client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Financial Manager to oversee the financial operations of multiple motor vehicle dealerships within the group. This role is based at Head Office in Rosebank and requires regular travel to various dealership locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the full financial function across multiple dealerships
- Ensure accurate and timeous preparation of monthly management accounts
- Analyse financial results and provide insights to improve profitability and efficiency
- Monitor and control budgets, forecasts, and cash flow across the group
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Review and approve balance sheet reconciliations
- Manage and support dealership financial teams
- Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Assist with audits
Requirements
- Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA(SA))
- Experience:
- Minimum 46 years post-qualification experience
- Proven experience within the motor industry (essential)
- Experience managing multiple entities or branches will be advantageous
- Systems Knowledge:
- Experience with Evolve and EasyBI (or similar dealership systems)
