About the Role
Hire Resolve, a leading engineering consultancy, is seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Project Planner for an 18-month fixed-term contract starting October 2025. This opportunity will enable you to play a key role in the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) rollout, a major infrastructure initiative aligned with South Africa’s shift toward sustainable power solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project schedules and timelines
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are met
- Conduct site visits and monitoring to track progress
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and industry standards
Requirements
- Engineering-related degree or diploma
- 5+ years on-site experience in project planning/programming in the construction industry
- Proven experience in large-scale infrastructure environments such as power stations (coal, gas, solar), battery or energy storage facilities, mining or utility (water/electricity) operations
- Advanced MS Projects proficiency
- Experience with CCS Candy or Primavera P6
- Willingness to work on-site and rotate between three active project sites within close proximity
