About the Role
Dynamic Outsourced Solutions Pty. Ltd is seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to oversee the daily maintenance, repair and servicing of vehicles and equipment in our Benoni facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality standards are met, while providing strong leadership and technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily maintenance, repair and servicing of vehicles and equipment
- Diagnose complex mechanical issues and manage repair procedures
- Train and develop employees to ensure skills and knowledge are up to date
- Resolve conflicts and maintain a positive work environment through excellent interpersonal skills
- Manage maintenance schedules, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Coordinate all resources and materials needed for vehicle repairs and services
- Implement safety protocols to minimize risks to employees and the public
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of vehicle mechanics, including trucks, and specialized transport equipment
- Ability to diagnose complex mechanical issues and manage repair procedures
- Familiarity with transport industry standards, including safety regulations and environmental considerations
- Strong management skills to lead a team of technicians, mechanics, and other workshop staff
Qualifications
- Matric Red Seal Diesel Mechanic – Certified A degree or diploma in a relevant field such as engineering, manufacturing, or business management
- Vocational training or certifications specific to the industry (e.g., mechanical engineering, automotive technology, etc.)
- Health and Safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH)
- Project Management certifications (e.g., PMP)
- Industry-specific certifications (e.g., welding, machining, automotive service)
