About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and charismatic Host/Duty Manager to join our luxury 5-star hotel in Ballito, where you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless guest journey and maintaining exceptional service standards across all departments during shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of in-house guest experience during shift
- Welcome and engage guests in a professional, warm manner
- Anticipate guest needs and deliver proactive service
- Manage special occasions, requests, and guest preferences
- Handle guest concerns and service recovery with professionalism
- Maintain a visible and consistent hosting presence throughout the hotel
- Oversee Front Office, F&B, Housekeeping, and Spa during shift
- Ensure smooth operational flow during peak service periods
- Support and guide team members on the floor
- Step in operationally where required to maintain service excellence
- Coordinate effectively across all departments
