About the Role
Our client, a leading Technical Services Provider in Cape Town, is seeking a Customer Service and Support Consultant to provide professional support to both internal and external customers. This role will involve advising and educating customers on various billing models, handling monthly account queries via multiple channels, and managing help tickets to ensure timely resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Advising and educating customers on different billing models
- Handling monthly account queries via telephone, WhatsApp chatbot, and company ticketing system
- Managing help tickets, including creating, assigning, escalating, following up, and resolving tickets
- Performing administrative duties such as:
- Following up of failed communication with customers
- Updating of customer profiles
- Reporting
- Sending bulk emails and SMSs to customers
Requirements
- Matric
- 2 years of experience in a call centre/customer support environment
- Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Outlook, MS Excel, and MS Word
- Bilingual with formal business writing and professional communication in both Afrikaans and English
- Strong administration, organising, and problem-solving skills
