About the Role
The Sales & Marketing Representative will be responsible for managing designated accounts and growing the volume and range of products sold within the assigned territory, through strategic sales initiatives, strong customer relationships, and a solutions-driven approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and expanding existing accounts
- Identifying new business opportunities
- Positioning the company’s products competitively in the market
- Submitting accurate weekly and monthly reports
- Maintaining continuous communication between customers and internal teams
- Actively participating in trade shows, farmer days, and promotional events
- Managing product portfolios
- Providing pricing support
- Handling customer feedback and delivery follow-ups
- Contributing to product forecasting and stock optimisation
Requirements
- Grade 12 (NQF4) is essential
- A tertiary qualification in Agriculture (B Agric or BSc Agric) will be advantageous
- Strong technical knowledge of animal nutrition will be beneficial
- A valid Code 08/EB drivers licence is required
- 35 years experience in a similar sales and marketing role
