Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Assembles and installs solar panels on roofs and other structures.
2. Installing of DC Inverters and calibrating settings as required.
3. Building of Combiner Boxes

1. Configures PV systems based on site conditions and customers needs and expectations; connects panels to the power grid.

1. Follows building standards and codes when installing panels and support structures.

1. Tests operating voltages: calibrates to ensure systems are within acceptable power limits.

1. Ensures that equipment is weather sealed.

1. Performs routine maintenance on PV systems.

1. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

1. Extensive knowledge of PV equipment and installation.

1. Extensive knowledge of DC electrical wiring and equipment.

1. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

1. Ability to read equipment manuals.

1. Ability to use hand and power tools to install PV panels and DC Inverters

Education and Experience:

1. High school diploma or equivalent required.

1. Vocational or technical school training preferred.

1. Previous related experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:
