Achieve Departmental goals across all applicable content areas/forge cross departmental relationships based on common company values/ways of working. Install/assemble machinery/mechanical systems/ equipment as per blueprints/technical manuals/ manufacturer specs. Perform routine prevent maint on machines/ conveyors/pumps/ motors/other mechanical equipment. Diagnose/ repair issues with mechanical systems/electrical components/ hydraulics. Efficiently troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns/minimise production downtime/utilise diagnostic tools to identify issues, incl vibration analysis /infrared thermography. Assist with installation of new systems/upgrades to existing equipment modifications to improve the overall efficiency of operations. Work closely with production teams/Engineers/ other maintenance personnel to resolve equipment issues/improve machine performance. Accurate recordkeeping of maintenance/ repairs/installations, incl. parts used/labour hours/any issues found. Ensure tools/ equipment/parts required for maint are available/well-maintained/follow all safety SOPs, incl. lockout/ tagout practices/while working with hazardous machinery/equipment. About the Role

PAR EXCELLANCE is seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team in Boksburg, South Africa. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our food processing factory. Key Responsibilities

• Install and assemble machinery and mechanical systems/equipment as per blueprints/technical manuals/manufacturer specs.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on machines/conveyors/pumps/motors/other mechanical equipment.
• Diagnose and repair issues with mechanical systems/electrical components/hydraulics.
• Efficiently troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns/minimise production downtime/utilise diagnostic tools to identify issues, including vibration analysis/infrared thermography.
• Assist with the installation of new systems/upgrades to existing equipment/modifications to improve the overall efficiency of operations.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Formal education/certifications (e.g. Bachelor’s, LLB, Matric) are not required for this position.
