About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our team at PAR EXCELLANCE in Polokwane, South Africa. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive engineering and maintenance services to all factory operations. Your leadership skills and technical expertise will enable you to lead a team of Artisans and provide sound technical advice to the management team on engineering maintenance, performance, and continuous efficiency improvement practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive engineering and maintenance services to all factory operations
  • Lead a team of Artisans to deliver sound technical advice to the management team on engineering maintenance, performance, and continuous efficiency improvement practices
  • Develop and implement maintenance planning and workshop management systems
  • Conduct advanced troubleshooting and determine causes of operating errors
  • Scopes projects, sets timelines, and conducts critical path analysis

Requirements

  • BTech/BEng/BSc Eng Mechanical/Agricultural Engineering
  • Pr.Eng/GCC Factories
  • MS Office/ AutoCAD /Sketchup
  • 3+ years of experience as Maintenance Manager/maintenance systems management
  • Knowledge/experience in food/produce/canning/bottling factory maintenance

Qualifications

  • Formal education/certifications (e.g., BTech/BEng/BSc Eng Mechanical/Agricultural Engineering)
