About the Role
Kendrick Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a luxury property group for an Administrator / Accounts Payable Clerk. The successful candidate will support the finance team with day-to-day operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Process all invoices, ensuring they are matched to purchase orders, authorised, valid, and compliant
- Check and process all credit notes and allocate as necessary
- Manage purchases against budgets
- Reconcile supplier statements with company records
- Liaise with creditors and suppliers, resolving discrepancies in a timely manner
- Review supplier statements to ensure all documentation has been received and processed
- Prepare payment requisitions based on reconciliations within set deadlines
- Produce weekly aged creditors lists and take appropriate action to clear outstanding items
- Produce 15th and month-end aged creditors lists with commentary for review
- Capture and allocate payments on Sage One and load payments on the online banking system
- Ensure all financial documents are filed and organised efficiently
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Creditors/Finance, preferably within the hospitality, share block, or timeshare industry
- Proficient in Sage One Accounting and advanced Excel skills
- Valid South African ID
- Strong numeric and administrative skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Self-starter with initiative, able to plan and manage deadlines and priorities
Qualifications
- Matric qualification including Mathematics
