About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team in Cape Town City Centre, responsible for managing client relationships and driving sales growth. The ideal candidate will be a brand ambassador with excellent communication skills, able to work in a fast-paced environment and build strong relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities
- General Client Relationship Management
- Act as a brand ambassador
- Respond quickly to client requests, queries, or complaints
- General Client Service
- Support clients with a sound knowledge of products, services, processes, policies, and procedure
- Provide technical information to understand tests and test results
- Portfolio Management
- Contribute to the development of focused sales and marketing campaigns and programs
- Identify and source new clients
- Develop a new business pipeline
- Manage prospects through the pipeline
- Onboard new clients
- Sales Administration
- Maintain client and quote data
- Generate reports
- Perform ad hoc tasks requested by management
Requirements
- ND or BTech in Food Technology with 4 to 5 years experience
- Technical Sales experience would be advantageous
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans
- Valid drivers license is essential
- Willing to travel
